FireWorks

A new play development program

September - October 2023

FireWorks was a 5-week program for playwrights to develop and specify their plays in 2023. Each FireWorks playwright received 8 hours of rehearsal space a week, a cast of actors, and a director. Given those resources, playwrights and directors organized a rehearsal process culminating in three readings at the Brick Aux in Williamsburg.
