The Elif Collective is excited to announce FireWorks, a 5-week program for playwrights to develop and specify their plays. FireWorks is the first step in our mission of growing and rewriting and exploring plays live, in a room, together.
About the program
Each FireWorks playwright receives:

8 hours of rehearsal space a week
-
A cast of actors, suited to their play's character breakdown

A director, who works with them to create a workshop process suited to their rewrite goals
-
$200 stipend
Given those resources, playwrights and directors are free to organize their rehearsal processes as they like.
FireWorks is run with the generous support of the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural Center and the Brick Aux.
